Terms of use

1. About Eskulp

Eskulp is operated by David Guillén Serafín ("we"). It is in early testing (beta) and free for now.

2. Not medical advice

Eskulp is a wellness and fitness logging tool. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.

Calculations (calories, targets, BMI, body-fat estimates, one-rep max, food equivalents) and AI suggestions are general estimates and can be wrong.

Talk to a doctor or a qualified professional before starting a new exercise programme or diet, especially if you are pregnant, have a health condition or a history of eating disorders, or take medication. Stop exercising and seek help if you feel pain, dizziness or shortness of breath.

Never ignore or delay professional advice because of something you saw in the app. In an emergency call 112 (or your local emergency number).

3. Your account

You must be 18 or over. One person per account. Keep your password private; you are responsible for activity in your account. Tell us at hello@eskulp.com if you think someone else has access.

4. Your data is yours

You own what you log. You allow us to store and process it only to provide the app to you. You can export it at any time, free, on every plan. Recipes and routines you create are private.

5. Fair use

Do not try to access other people's data, disrupt or overload the service, copy the service or its databases automatically, or upload unlawful content.

6. Third-party content

Food data comes from Open Food Facts, USDA and other sources, and exercise illustrations are used under open licences (see Credits). They can contain errors: check labels when it matters.

7. Availability

The app is provided as it is, while we build it. Features can change and the service can be interrupted. If your data matters to you, export it from time to time.

8. Liability

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, or for injuries or health outcomes resulting from decisions you take based on the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer or liability that the law does not allow us to limit.

9. Prices

Eskulp is free now. If paid plans come, we will announce them in advance and nothing will be charged without your explicit agreement. Founding members with an invite code keep free access.

10. Ending

You can delete your account at any time in Profile. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
